What kind of application is Lands?
Lands is a plug-in that runs in AutoCAD, incorporating specific commands and features of landscaping and green space design such as insertion of plant elements, civil engineering structures or terrains. Lands also includes a number of specific features to document landscape projects: listing and plant tagging, dimensioning on coordinate axis, zoning, levels, watering systems, etc.
For the most demanding users, Lands also has a rendering plug-in that enables the creation of photorealistic images and animations of projects.
Is Lands the same as ARQ Landscape?
Lands is the version that follows ARQ Landscape. This updated and enhanced version was created from the desire to offer professionals two different landscape design solutions with the objective of finding the product that best fits the professionals needs.
ARQ Landscape was a complete solution that allowed from the design on the plan to the creation of photorealistic images by means of AccuRender 4, a rendering application. This is when Lands Studio kicks into action, replacing AccuRender 4 with AccuRender nXt and upgrading the features of ARQ Landscape.
In addition, the user will find in Lands Design an affordable alternative, with all the design features of ARQ Landscape but with the exception of the rendering program, which is not included. This allows us to offer a basic software, with everything you need to complete an entire project, to those professionals that do not require the generation of photorealistic images, or who already have specific rendering software.
